To our dear friends & family at the Adventure Play Hub,

I want you to know that we are fully aware of the considerable impact the Coronavirus outbreak is having within our community, and the closure of our playground has come at a disastrous cost. We will face this challenge together.

The health and wellbeing of our members is paramount during this challenging time and I am aware that life at home will be extremely stressful for both parents and children, whose need for play is instinctual. This must be particularly difficult for the families whose homes surround the playground, and my thoughts truly go out to you.

I am sure many of you are feeling anxious and sad about being confined indoors, in possibly small or overcrowded spaces. As well as being an environment for our wonderful children to play in, we provide a listening ear for some of you. Despite not being there face to face, please do take comfort in the fact that we are working hard with friends & partners to figure out how we can best help and support our most vulnerable.

To gauge how we can do this I have set up a short online survey and would greatly appreciate it if members could complete this as soon as possible. Please follow this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/3KLZVQL

I encourage you all to stay connected - we are still available for guidance and support via the phone and email: hello@adventureplayhub.org.

If you would like to chat to Harriet, Betty or Lauren then please specify this explicitly in an email and we will provide contact numbers.

We are in the process of making some fun, educational arts & crafts activity worksheets, as well as daily video tutorials which will be there for you to access via on our website/social media. Hopefully this will keep the children entertained even for just an hour or so, as well as seeing a familiar face.
